Frequently Asked Questions
What is a European bar pull?
A European bar pull is a cabinet handle with a clean, linear shape and
extended ends. It is also commonly called a Euro-style pull, bar handle, or
cabinet bar pull.
Can European bar pulls be used on both doors and drawers?
Yes. European bar pulls can be installed vertically on cabinet doors or
horizontally on drawers. Confirm the available space and desired placement
before drilling new mounting holes.
How do I measure for replacement bar pulls?
Measure from the center of one existing mounting hole to the center of the
other. Choose a new pull with the same center-to-center measurement to reuse
the existing holes.
Is overall length the same as hole spacing?
No. Overall length measures the entire handle from end to end. Hole spacing
measures only the center-to-center distance between the mounting screws.
Can I mix different bar-pull lengths?
Yes. Many kitchens use shorter pulls on cabinet doors and smaller drawers
with longer pulls on wide drawers or pantry cabinets. Choosing sizes from
the same Cosmas series and finish helps maintain a coordinated appearance.
What finishes are available?
Depending on the series, Cosmas European bar pulls are available in Brushed
Antique Brass, Brushed Brass, Brushed Gold, Flat Black, Oil Rubbed Bronze,
Polished Chrome, Satin Nickel, and Stainless Steel.
What screws come with Cosmas European bar pulls?
Standard 1-inch mounting screws with 8-32 threads are included. Depending on
the thickness of the cabinet door or drawer front, a different screw length
may be required.
Can I purchase bar pulls in multiple-pack quantities?
Many Cosmas European bar pulls are available individually and in 10-pack or
25-pack quantities. Available pack options vary by product.
